Flags of the world - Japanese Prefectures

Whilst looking for a weird flag I came across recently (I haven't identified it yet), I touched on this curious little subsection of the infamous "Flags of the World" website.

Each prefecture/province has its own flag, as you might expect. But it were the designs that struck me: simple, elegant (Saitama) and many with a rich history (i.e. Okinawa).

A good inspiration for a clan logo? ;)
